Data Retention

Active Account Data

While your account is active, we retain all data necessary to provide the Service, including:

• Account information and profile data
• Portfolio data, watchlists, and preferences
• Usage analytics and interaction data
• Communication records

Specific Retention Periods

• Account data: Duration of account + 30 days
• Portfolio and watchlist data: Duration of account + 30 days
• Usage analytics: 2 years from collection
• Communication records: 3 years from last interaction
• Financial records: 7 years (IRS requirement)

Post-Cancellation

After you cancel your account:

• Personal data retained for 30 days (grace period for reactivation)
• After 30 days: Permanent deletion of personal data
• Aggregate, anonymized data: Retained indefinitely for analytics
• Backup copies: Deleted within 90 days

User-Requested Deletion

You may request immediate deletion by emailing [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.

Transfer of Data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to – and maintained on – computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualise and personalise the ads of its own advertising network.

Payments

We may provide paid products and/or services within Service. In that case, we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors).

We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.

Google Sheets Add-on

RyxelData offers a Google Sheets add-on ("the Add-on") that allows users to fetch financial datasets directly into their spreadsheets. When you install and use the Add-on, Google prompts you to grant specific OAuth scopes. This section explains what each scope is used for and how we handle the associated data.

OAuth Scopes

API Key Storage

To access the RyxelData API, users provide their personal API key through the Add-on's "Set API Key" dialog. This key is stored using Google's PropertiesService under the user's own Google account and is not accessible to other users. The key is only transmitted to https://ryxel.io/api over HTTPS when making authenticated requests. We never log or persist the key on our servers beyond standard API request authentication.

Data Handling and Limited Use

RyxelData's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• We only use the granted scopes to provide user-facing features of the Add-on (fetching data into the user's spreadsheet).
• We do not transfer data obtained through these scopes to third parties except as necessary to provide the service, or to comply with applicable law.
• We do not use data obtained through these scopes for serving advertisements.
• We do not allow humans to read this data unless we have the user's affirmative consent, it is necessary for security purposes, to comply with law, or the data is aggregated and used for internal operations in accordance with applicable rules.

Revoking Access

You can revoke the Add-on's access to your Google account at any time by visiting https://myaccount.google.com/permissions and removing access for "RyxelData". You may also uninstall the Add-on from your Google Sheets via Extensions > Add-ons > Manage add-ons.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 ("Children").

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update "effective date" at the top of this Privacy Policy.
